Christmas in South Carolina

OK!!!  It's been too long and many things have happened.

This year, we spent Christmas with the Horton's in South Carolina!!  We were really looking forward to this year more than most mainly so we could watch Isaac with his new toys now that he loves playing with stuff.  This winter has been super duper mild but I was still excited that warmer weather meant less to pack and not having to bundle Isaac up so much!  Pictures tell a better story and are a lot more fun to narrate so here we go!

Isaac LOVED all the great family attention he got, and gave some good cuddles too.

Ah, the inner boy of James is satisfied (for a little while).  James and Garrett built a rocket together and then shot it off in the back yard.  After a few (15?) minutes the were successful and it was fun to see.

James captured the water-color lesson.  Artists in the family make everything so much more colorful.

Aunt Rie was so nice and gave Isaac crackers on her lap, don't they look so cozy??

Cuddle time while watching everyone open presents!  We went to church (1 hour, yeah!) then came back and did presents.  The only person who might've cared was Isaac who

When is getting presents not fun?

James FIIIIINALY finished the painting Grandpa asked for, so we framed it and it looks great!

I think kids should open 1 present a day, then they can play with it a ton before they get overwhelmed by all the great things they got!  Isaac LOVES his big truck.

He doesn't really understand that the truck isn't for riding, but that didn't really stop anyone.  Did it, Dad???

It's a late Christmas post but thank you all for making this Christmas really great!!!
